"The Puyohs" is a pop-rock mixed band. We started by playing mostly rock music like MUSE, NIRVANA, BON JOVI and stuffs like that. We played mostly cover songs but we're working on our own songs now due to our determination to be indie band. We not yet an indie band but we're trying hard. "The Puyohs" was initially created by this 2 puyohs...
Previously their from a band called ANGEVIL consists of
Alvin, Iys, Ferru and Sei but it didn't go well because
some of them had their other dreams to fight for.
After lots of troubles, incidents, accidents and whatsoever......still both of us only. A guitarist and a bassist till around March 2009 I decided to bring my drum set over to KL so we could jam for fun and our brother Stanley *CHUP* :

decided to learn drum, and our 3 piece band had been created. We play MUSE cover all the time and keep practicing when we're free. We're quite busy worker but we still spend times for our interest and dream. We continued to just perform at home for no one to see till the guards have been complaining for several times *This is Youth* common, stupid guard, don't kacau please!!! Hahaha.
We soon get to know that our hometown secondary school Hwa Lian was organizing their Interact Club IU Day 2009 and without hesitation and consideration, Alvin text the President of the club and ask her how about a having a band or another band to perform during your big day and they said yes~~Here goes "The Puyohs" first performance. Initially there're no vocal in our band, Iys and Stanley asked me to sing *by the way I'm Alvin" but gods know my voice sucks and I don't even gets any professional lesson on this even my guitar skills and knowledge I learned from internet on my own. But luckily these people came to help :

Jiaee officially joined "The Puyoh" as our Vocalist and 2nd Guitarist. Another member joined. What good starting for us. Been resting for after a month after the first gig, we received a news from Iys where we'll be playing for our own secondary school SMKM for their Interact Club IU Day too. Iys told me this time we've got another vocalist with good voice will be joining us. I've been hearing rumors from quite some people for the girls vocal power but I still doubting whether she's that good or not till Iys called me out of a sudden on Tuesday and told me that the girl Sok Ling *CHUP* :

and computers. I barely can find her photos. I wonder how can
she survive without facebook-ing & MSN~~But she's such a good
vocalist and I admired her voice so much~and she as Puyoh

will be coming over to our place for practice and test out. But then another message from Iys was we're performing on that Saturday. I was like "WTF"!! No use complaining, so just go for it. Just 3 days for practice and only night time. But the result and outcome came out quite good, good responses from people that watching us, saw our videos and some close friends who attended the event. After that, Sok Ling officially joined us due to our passion and interest in music and singing.
We're currently working very hard on our band, we're try to play covers and own songs so people can enjoy when we're performing and we're craving for performances, events, or shows to perform. If there're any and we meet your requirements please don't hesitate to ask us to go for it. That's a little bit about us but I guess it was quite long...hahaha, more to come from us. Stay Tune!!!
